Founded in 2016, Florida Barge Corp provides turnkey marine transportation for oversized, heavy, and complex project cargo. From initial engineering and loadout planning through towing and final delivery, FBC coordinates every critical phase with the experience, equipment, and attention required to move challenging cargo safely and efficiently.
From First Lift to Final Delivery
Florida Barge Corp was established to meet the demands of projects that require more than a standard transportation solution. FBC has transported individual cargoes exceeding 300 feet and three million pounds, including bridge components, transformers, turbines, industrial modules, and dredging equipment.
With AND-class barges up to 400 feet by 100 feet and U.S.-flag towing vessels up to 5,000 horsepower, FBC supports roll-on/roll-off, heavy-lift crane, and float-on/float-off operations. Every project is carefully planned and coordinated from inception through delivery to help customers remain on schedule and within budget.
Service areas include the U.S. East Coast, Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean, Central America, and South America.
Brendan Moran
Brendan Moran leads Florida Barge Corp with extensive experience in marine transportation, heavy equipment, and complex project logistics. Before establishing FBC, Brendan spent more than four years with Mobro Marine and previously worked in equipment sales with ASV/Terex. He is a graduate of Florida State University.
Brendan remains closely involved throughout every project, working alongside clients, engineers, crews, and transportation partners to anticipate challenges and develop the right solution for each cargo. His practical, hands-on approach has helped establish FBC as a trusted resource for demanding marine transportation projects throughout domestic and international waterways.
His philosophy is simple: understand the cargo, build the right plan, coordinate details, and follow through from start to finish.
